If you have never been to Ethel M’s Chocolates or haven’t seen the Cactus Garden lit up with Christmas lights, you’re missing out. Christmas lights are scheduled to begin on November 14th till the end of January, but if you want to beat the crowds it’s best to go in November. Biking Henderson is a program in which residents can sign up to ride at least 250 miles on their bike to receive a free t-shirt. This program lasts from the beginning of October to the end of December. The cost is $15 and you can register on the Henderson City website.

The Black Mountain Recreation Center has events planned for all ages. A.C.C.E.S.S. is an after-school program hosted by the rec center that has events planned Monday-Friday for ages 8-14. This program has everything from game nights, health and fitness nights, service nights, and other special events planned. Games and crafts in this program are fall-themed and will help get the youth of Henderson excited about Thanksgiving and the fall season.
