Harry Potter-themed coffee shop, need I say more? The decor at this coffee shop is super fun, not overdoing it and keeping it feeling like a chill coffee house that may be found off Diagon Alley. Bad Owl has a fun menu with house-themed espresso shots, butter brew latte, and other coffee/flavor combinations that you may never think to put in coffee but tastes amazing. COO COO’S COFFEE CAFE

Located in Downtown Henderson/Water Street District, Coo Coo’s Gourmet Coffee Cafe is definitely a local favorite with a 1950’s look. Not only do they offer great coffee – be sure to try their Funky Monkey Frappe – but their food menu offers a lot of great comfort food options such as Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, muffins, sandwiches, and more for very reasonable prices. This coffee house in Henderson also delivers to residents in a 1-mile radius and businesses in a 2-mile radius (Thankfully, our office at Nevada Desert Realty is within that 2-mile radius!). MOTHERSHIP COFFEE

Open from 7 AM-6 PM every day, this Henderson coffee shop roasts its own coffee beans. Other locations in Henderson use Mothership roasted coffee beans such as Sunrise Coffee House and Public Works Coffee Bar. The coffee menu is simple and they have amazing pastries and baked goods here – both in taste and in appearance. They also sell their different roasts, and when you buy a bag of coffee beans you get a free cup of coffee. If you ask a local who visits Mothership Coffee regularly, they will probably tell you about how creamy their specialty drinks are or how strong their black coffee is. PUBLIC WORKS COFFEE BAR

Also located in Downtown Henderson is the newer coffee house to the area – Public Works Coffee Bar. This coffee shop in Henderson has a little more of an urban feel and is excited about bringing a little more energy to the area. This coffee house also plays with some interesting flavor combinations such as their tres leche latte or turmeric chai latte. Public Works Coffee Bar also has an assortment of food options including healthy choices. They partner with Mad Batter Cafe and Chef Flemming’s Bake Shop for their baked goods and work hard to only use local vendors for their coffee and food menu. Public Works Coffee Bar also has a community room that often features local artists and can be reserved for private events. THE COFFEE PRESS

The Coffee Press is located just in front of Paseo Verde Library at 280 S Green Valley Parkway in Henderson NV and their phone number is 702-617-7825. This coffee house is super fun and often has holiday/seasonally-themed baked goods that look and taste amazing. Some examples of their seasonal foods are Cinnamon Roll Turkeys, Dark Side and Batman cookies and brownies, and patriotic cookies. Many locals love the fact that this coffee house is connected to the library and they can grab a book and head over for coffee and cookie, muffin, or donut. This coffee house also offers fresh fruit and other healthy options if you’re not looking to indulge in sugary goodness.

JOZO DRINK SHOP

This is a Henderson coffee and tea house with really fun bottles to drink from. This coffee house also has modern vibes with a chalkboard painted wall. You can also buy coffee beans from Jozo’s. Jozo’s has a food menu but is known for its waffle sticks that come in many different flavors or with ice cream. Jozo’s also offers Boba and Matcha flavored waffle sticks. Some of their specialty coffee drinks also have Asian flavor influences such as their Yuan Yang, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and the “All Nighter” which has matcha cream mixed in with espresso and cold brew. Besides teas and coffees, Jozo’s Drink Shop also offers shakes, floats, and smoothies. This is definitely a Henderson coffee shop you’ll need to check out. SKIMOS COFFEE SHOP

Skimo’s Coffee Shop opened in May 2017 and locals love their cold brew and espresso drinks. They also have fantastic specialty drinks such as a blended brownie mocha. Many locals have described this Henderson coffee shop as having a “chill” environment and the baristas keep the place very clean. You can buy coffee beans here and they also offer a variety of tea and snacks – even some healthy options. Skimos Coffee Shop also has incredible avocado toast topped with scrambled eggs and fresh, fruity salsa, and a strawberry Nutella toast. HI-COFFEE CAFE

This Hawaiian-themed coffee shop in Henderson is located at 90 S Stephanie St. #150 in Henderson NV. With coffee beans imported from Kona, there are also Ube treats and Haupia and guava flavors found in their menu items. They also have a great shaved ice menu for when things start to heat up during the summer. This coffee house may have the most seating than the other Henderson coffee houses we’ve talked about so far, so don’t worry about trying out this coffee place with several of your coffee-loving friends.

THE COFFEE BEAN AND TEA LEAF

While this is a franchise… which we know is a cuss word to some of you coffee house *cough cough* Snobs *cough*, we love the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf located at The District in Green Valley. We often take our clients there to go over their Henderson real estate transaction, or just go there to get caught up with an associate or bring a laptop and get caught up on emails. Their iced teas really hit the spot during the summer, but we still order them even when it gets cold during the winter. Our admin also really loves their hazelnut lattes and how creamy they are. This coffee house has two walls worth of windows looking down the street of The District and comfy chairs to sit back and relax in. If you have never tried The Coffee Bean out, you should really try to make it over to order a coffee next time you’re in the district.
